Harrow restaurants

Anyone know a decent restaurant other than Indian in Harrow, London?

  1. Check out Incanto, an Italian place. Someone once mentioned that to me, but I've never eaten there.

    1. As suggested by zuriga, Incanto is a good Italian. My problem with it, and I have been an occasional customer since it opened, is that its pricing is one band up from what it should be.

Apart from that, the place and its surrounds are a restaurant desert. Copious subcontinental establishments exist but most are the usual suburban curry houses serving slop to the ignorant. There are one or two exceptions to that rule but that is not the subject of your enquiry.

If venturing beyond the borders of Harrow, St James' in Bushey is worth a look. Other than that, the advice is to get yourself to the thoroughly misnamed Harrow on the Hill station and get a fastish train to Marylebone. Plenty of interesting places within twenty minutes walk from there.

      1. I've heard good things about Masa, an Afghani restaurant, but haven't tried it yet.
