Chinese stuffed duck?

I remember eating this amazing roast duck stuffed with chestnuts, mushrooms, and other things from Chinatown when I was younger. Does that ring a bell with anyone? Do you know where I might find it?

  1. I think there is an 8 treasure stuffed duck at Hakka, special order only. Call and ask.

    1. I had it a couple years ago with my family at a restaurant in Cupertino. I do not know the restaurant name, but it was on Stevens Creek Road just east of Wolfe next door to a vacuum cleaner shop. Hopefully somebody can help with the name,
I believe it is a special pre-order item. Although it was roasted, it was also braised and the meat didn't seem to have much of the rich duck flavor that I love. We also had the braised pork belly which was the memorable dish of the meal.

      1. @wolfe + fledflew: we enjoyed delicious Eight Treasure braised duck at a strip mall Chinese restaurant in a Southeastern college town full of trendy and pretentious restaurants, one of which this was not.

Whoops. Forgot to write that Eight Treasure duck we know is a Shanghai dish according to Aunt Virginia.
