Special Dinner after Hedwig on Broadway on Saturday night around 12:30

Hello,
I'm trying to find a really great spot for after my show on 47th and 7th. Show let's out at about midnight. Any suggestions are welcome. Price is no issue, somewhere where I can get reservation or there will not be a wait is necessary. Any area is fine just allow for travel time and it must have gluten free options. I was thinking Yakatori Totto but I worry about a long wait. Thanks so much

  1. I like Yakitori Totto but you are right there can be very long waits, it's a small space. How many people are you?

Yakitori Totto shouldn't be too bad at 12:30AM for two people.

2nd the Breslin recommendation. Also Buddakan and Sushi Seki are open late.

I'd recommend Buddakan because their food comes out quickly, which is great when you're hungry and it's late. Their menu has gluten free options and you will be able to make reservations.

The Breslin no longer serves past midnight.

          {saturday & sunday}
          brunch 7:00am to 4:00pm
          dinner 5:30pm to 12:00am

    1. Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill is open until 2:00 am.

      1. BTW - Hedwig has no intermission and a running time of 95 mins. If you're seeing the 10 PM show, you're out by 11:35 PM.

There are quite a few good places seating at 11:30 and 11:45 on Opentable. The Breslin, Toloache, Maysville. Further downtown: ABC Cocina, ABC Kitchen,

I saw the show already and it started 10 minutes late so by the time we slowly exited it was 11:55

        2. If its just yourself you could try sake bar hagi, an izakaya, which isn't far, and hope for a seat at the bar.

Koreatown has many 24/7 restaurants like BCD tofu house if you want korean, and there are many more options downtown- this thread covers most of them:

          1. On open table I found the following...any thoughts:
Medi Wine Bar, Landmarc at the Time Warner Center, Beauty and Essex, Catch

Don't know about the other places but avoid B&E at all costs, that place is a certified shit show and a "wanna be" scene...

If you were okay with going as far as B&E maybe you want to give the new NoMad Bar a look. They are open until 2AM on Saturday and take food orders up to one hour prior to close.

It's a pretty small bar and they don't take reservations, and its a Saturday night. I fear my changes are slim.

The NoMad has a new bar next door. They're calling it the NoMad Bar; the existing bar is now referred to as the Elephant Bar.

Oh wow great news I'll look it into it

              1. ZZ's Clam Bar - I believe it's open until 1am, call for reservations as they are not on OpenTable
Balthazar - open until 1am (with an after hours menu) but I can't seem to make a reservation past 11pm online
                Minetta Tavern - ditto

Not quite as "special" but Buvette, Spotted Pig, and Momofuku Ssam are all open late, but don't take reservations.
