Looking for a odd restaurant in Nova Scotia
Many, many years ago I was visiting NS and was taken to the neatest place. I remember it as being a lot like Ella's Deli in Madison, WI -- full of toys and whimsical decorations. I think there were things hanging from the ceiling that moved.
Google is utterly failing me. Does this place ring any bells? It might have been near Parrsboro and I think we also visited a senic outlook over a valley that was quite nearby.
I'm unfamiliar with restaurants in the Parrsboro area, but what about emailing the town and asking? I found an email address on the town website: firstname.lastname@example.org
I believe you are thinking of the diner that used to be near the entrance to the Blomidon Look Off/Cape Split. The name escapes me, but it closed several years ago. Perhaps DeeDee's?
