Lookout Roadhouse Restaurant - Ortega Hwy Overlook

The Lookout Roadhouse doesn't show up in my search of the L.A. board and wondered if anyone had experience with their food? The recent thread about places like Pinnacle Peak makes me wonder if this is a good substitute? Yelp thread on it can be found here:

  1. I've stopped there many times as it's a motorcycle stop but, I've never eaten there.

    1. If it is still the same as the last time I stopped in there, the food is all from Sysco and you have to be very careful about parking in order to avoid dinging the yuppie bikes.

They say on their menu "Lookout's Famous BBQ Ribs - Our Oak-Smoked Specialty". Are you certain that these are a Sysco product, (because they are saying that they do the smoking themselves)?

          Hey, Serv, I don't know - it's been a few years since I visited.

I hope they have good food now - the view over the lake is so beautiful.

      2. Are you on some sort of bicycle trip, Serv?

Ha. No...although I did once ride from our house to Ortega Hwy. But riding over the Hwy would be pretty scary I think, unless I was on a Ducati...
