private table for two?

I'm planning a romantic anniversary evening for my fiancee and I'd love to find a private table for two, maybe in a small private room, a wine cellar, etc. I've found lots of private rooms for larger groups, but it's just the two of us. I've come across Philip Marie (dining for two) and Zenkichi (not really private, but screens separate the tables), but I'd love some recommendations. Thanks!!!

  1. Daniel has its Skybox, above the kitchen.

    Look also at the wine room at Maialino.

    Kaiseki in a private tatami room at Kyo Ya.

    Also look at Picholine (but they're closed until Sept), Artisanal's cheese cave, and possibly Le Grenouille (I can't tell from the web site if they still do this as their site is currently under construction).

    1. L’Artusi has a private table in their wine cellar, which sounds like what you may want. Not necessarily my top choice for food, but it fits your other criteria.

      Ai Fiori or Ristorante Morini both have private rooms that are on the larger side but can be arranged for a private table for two.

      But I think Kyo Ya, as suggested by kathryn, is your best bet if you want a cozy private room setup just for a table of 2 with good to outstanding food.

      1. Thanks for the suggestions!
