Baby friendly...

My husband, three-month old baby, and I will be hanging in Houston next week. We are looking for some baby friendly but really good restaurants around town...not necessarily 'kid-friendly' which in my experience means kid-friendly food (burgers, pancakes), but we need an atmosphere that is casual, where I could breastfeed if needed (with a cover) or if he squeals we won't suddenly be the center of attention. It's the kind of thing that is hard to search for as it is more of an atmosphere kind of thing. Any suggestions, anyone? Thanks!

  1. I should say we will be on the West side of town, so anywhere around RIce, Museum District, and up to Kirby, River Oaks and Montrose would be easiest.

    1. Niko Niko for Greek food meets your goals. Those areas are pretty adult oriented, but most Tex Mex places are loud enough to blend in. I like El Real and a little further away, the authentic Teotihuacan Cafe.

      1. Local Foods could be a good option, too.
