New Batali show on Hulu
No cooking, these are short (10 minute) pieces where MB interviews famous New Yorkers while travelling around NYC on a open double-decker bus and visit some famous (and not so famous) NYC spots. Filmed in black and white, with gorgeous cinematography, there are some real beauty shots of the city.
I've seen the first couple of episodes, and really enjoyed them. They touch on cuisine, but focus more on the "real" New York of today vs. NY of the past. The first one highlighted a Shuffleboard club/bar in Brooklyn and the second episode addressed the quirks of Grand Central Station. Both very artfully done.
