Favorite burger in Burlington or Stowe?

Taking a drive down I-89 to Stowe area (maybe Ben & Jerry's & for sure Cabot Cheese) & then to Burlington on Saturday. Looking for recommendations on your favorite burger joint & why you love their burgers. Thanks!

  1. Farmhouse Tap & Grill has delicious and pricy local burgers. They are located in downtown Burlington.

They dry age the local beef themselves and I love the fries, too.

For another option with less atmosphere but tasty food, try Archie's in Shelburne:

They have a chipotle mushroom special that rolls around every now and again and it is amazing. They also use local beef. You order at a counter and they call your name when your food is ready, so it's not a fancy place, but they are super nice there.

As for Stowe, I haven't been there but you might want to try Crop Bistro:

    1. I like the burgers at Prohibition Pig (in Waterbury)

Second the ProPig recommendation...I'll add in the Reservoir - much bigger burger than ProPig but very good. In Stowe, Blue Donkey makes a great burger but they have new management, not sure if all is the same...
