I'll be spending 5 nights next week at the Quintessence Hotel at Mt Tremblant. Can anyone report on the restaurant there? The website makes it look pretty great. Any other Tremblant recommendations are welcome.

The 2 meals I have had a the Q have been excellent, but then again I was part of a meeting planner group so they may have pulled out all the stops. I feel that Tremblant dining is a bit of a waste land. Nothing really stands out. If you are willing to drive about 30 minutes south you could go into Ste Adele and enjoy L'Eau a la bouche or Les Clef des Champs.

We have had lunch a couple of times at Les Truff (sp?), just off the main square. It was great, dinners are pricey but the presentation is wonderful.

Best value for money is L'Edelweis in Val David. (30 minutes south). Fantastic tasting menu and great wine cellar.

L'Eau a la Bouche in St Adele is also great, more formal and more expensive.
