Lunch Near Airport Court -- 405 and 105

I have a few sandwich places:

Del Rey Deli, Rinaldi's, Havana Sandwich. Big Mike's, too.

I can drive and my time is flexible. But my lunch companions need to get out and then back to court. Want inexpensive, hearty, delicious.

  1. Havana Mania and Al Noor are also close by. Flossie's a little farther...

    1. About 9 miles, if that will work timing wise, is Eatalian Cafe in Gardena https://enjoeat.com/

Have been to Eatalian with a group from the Compton court. It was fine.

In that area I much prefer dim sum at Sea Empress, on Redondo Beach Blvd.

Close by the court (maybe 4 miles?) is Sesame Moe's http://www.sesamemoes.com/ for Mediterranean/Lebanese food

        1. Coni's? *obligatory, but make sure to check if Sergio is cooking*

Nobody loves Coni's more than i do, but if speed is required, maybe not the best choice.
everything at Coni's is cooked to order.
I can't think of one thing at Coni's that is just assembled, like a sandwich.

I had the same trepidation about Orleans and York.
I love them, but the time constrains. . . .

I've been to Coni a number of times after leaving the LAX courthouse. Granted, I've gone well before noon, when it wasn't very busy, but I've never had much of a wait. Plus, jurors have a ninety minute lunch break and it's barely a ten minute drive.

if nosh's lunch companions are lawyers or court employees, rather than jurors, it's quite possible that they may not have an entire 90 minute block of time to devote to having lunch. . . . .
