Ads/Links about cystic acne and toenail fungus?

I'm reading CH on a Chrome Incognito page, and an ad at the bottom of the most recent What's For Dinner thread is REALLY unappetizing. Like REALLY REALLY unappetizing. Here's the link:

This has been posted on many times before...

The general consensus is that downloading Adblock software will make the ads go away. Otherwise, be thankful the site is free. And know that the site owners typically don't pick the ads that appear.

And as I have said "many times before" - I've had AdBlock Plus for a very long time - I was one of the first proponents here about using it. So you're not telling me anything I'm not already aware of.

Regardless, as I noted in my original post, I'm reading CH at work using the Incognito Chrome....in which AdBlock Plus doesn't work.

Chowhound/CHOW/CBS can pick and choose the ads they feed to their readers and request that the ad servers block certain types of ads and articles as not appropriate for a food site. And this is one that isn't appropriate.

When you have your own website you can decide what's appropriate for it.
