Salom: Uzbek in Speepsheads Bay: Heavenly Delicious

I have come into contact with Uzbekistan people from time to time, from the Bukharans at drinking establishments, to the Butcher I sometimes purchase meat, and the staff of some of the groceries I attend to when shopping. By far one of the best meals I recently encountered was in a visit to this quaint, and highly recommended Uzbekistan restaurant on Sheepshead Bay (the street).
The Uygur (Fried Lagman) Noodles(7.99), were homemade noodles with beef and vegetables. Egg accompanied this noodle, and it had ben placed nicely on the top to one side.
Amazing flavor. Nothing left desiring beyond a bit of hot sauce, for me anyway.
The noodles came in a sizable portion, though this does not seem clear with the the two photos I have placed here.
Salads are what salads ought to be, and the order derived from one of the eight on the menue, arrived on a long plate with mountainous portions.
The photo is of the Ali-Baba Salad (7.00), that had a cooked or roasted eggplant that added a very nice texture, and magical flavor, to the other raw items of tomato, garlic, onion and greens. One of the most amazing salads I have ever experienced eating.
The dumplings, called Manty, come large and on a plate with 4, for 6.50. The chopped lamb meat, was lightly wrapped, and cuttled in a not too thick blanket of dough, and steamed. Pan fried is available. A side of yogurt accompanied this. They were filling, though not overly filling, and they were very delicious.
Cold Apps, and Hot Apps are on the menu,along with a list of about 10 Kebabs, including liver, salmon, Lulya (or ground spiced lamb), and Lamb.
The menu gave good descriptions of al the food. Menus are in Cyrillic and English.
They obviously do all preparations from scratch, use fresh product, and do not use large anonymous North America distributors of commerical foodservice frozen stock and products.
The decorative interior and the place settings excelled beyond what the American is used to in comparably priced American and other venues, here.
There is no alcohol on the menu.
Service is very kind.
