I'm in LA for one day from minneapolis. What's my must visit place for Friday dinner?
What part of town? What Budget? What type of food? Animal is a great place for solo dining.http://animalrestaurant.com
Right up my alley. This is great. Can I walk in?
You can walk in at 6pm when they open..I'd make a reservation just to be sure.
If it's tomorrow night (OP didn't say which Friday night), res might be tough, but relatively easy to walk-in solo and get a seat at the bar.
Next Friday. I'll make a reservation. Or go at 6.
Need parameters, especially your location. LA is a big place with lots of bucket list/must go-to places, and there are challenges getting from one part of LA to another. Any preferences at all as to food type, budget, casualness, ethnicity?
Ok - budget, under $100 for one person. No Indian food. And I'm staying at hotel red in Hollywood. Casual enough that a Minnesota girl doesn't feel out of place. I will look nice and cute though!
Car, walking distance or public transportation?
Can't find a Hotel Red in Hollywood, unless my search skills are completely failing me. Found one called the Redbury.
If that's where you're staying, I don't know if it's a "must visit" but Littlefork nearby is good.
But if you can get into Animal, I'd go there.
Yes, that's it - sorry, off the cuff and didn't look it up! Animal sounds like the consensus.
Both Pizzeria Mozza and OSTERIA MOZZA have wonderful dining bars.http://www.osteriamozza.comhttp://pizzeriamozza.com
