Percentages for 'Soul of a Nation'

I'm doing an Indian dinner and wanted to make a themed cocktail called 'Soul of a Nation' that I found online. I wouldn't say it's particularly Indian but it's color mimics the Indian flag.

Ingredients are listed as mango puree, peach schnapps and champagne but I can't find any proportions. I have some high quality mango juice I was going to sub for the puree since I have the juice. I think it'll be like a mango mimosa. Any idea how much schnapps to add? And what sort of garnish might be pretty?

Thanks so much.

  1. I'm answering my own question re a garnish - a lime wedge makes it reflect the color of the flag. Are anyone else's limes really dry? I just bought a bag from Costco for cooking and they're pretty dry and bitter.

    1. Depends to a certain degree on the strength of the peach schnapps. I'd use no more than one to one and a half oz. of the schnapps to 3-6 oz. champagne. Think of it as a Bellini with mango flair.
