This is Major Tom to Chow Ground Control...

For here
Am I sitting in a tin can
Far above the world
Chow site is making me blue
And there's nothing I can do..................................

I'm having an awful time on Chow today. Everything taking forever to load and posting takes 2-3-4 attempts to get a post to go up. I noticed it was "slow" yesterday, but it seems worse today. Anyone else??

Though I'm past one hundred thousand meals
I'm feeling very ills
And I think my spaceship knows which way to go
Tell my wife I love her very much (she knows!)

  1. Honey bunny, we'll miss you. But I'm not having any problems so I won't be joining you on your trip.

C'mon C, you don't want to come for a spacewalk with me. We can be like Sandra Bullock and George Clooney in Gravity. (I didn't see the movie so I apologize in advance if George killed her in it or something)

Well, if you're GC, then count me in. But still not problem. Off to take MY 'hounds to the 'spa' :) Later, gator.

Awwwww I'm sorry you did make me laugh. I'm sorry I didn't respond sooner it's been a busy and agravating morning trying to get this sped up. Thanks to Servorg it seems to be working better. Thank's for responding.

        2. Here is a good example, I'm trying to respond to C. Olivers first response to this thread, I clicked Reply, wrote my text, hit reply, nothing, hit reply again and get this error message I need to enter text.

I think the mods are sending you a subtle message...

          2. If you are on a PC and you haven't discovered CCleaner then it's time to step up to the airlock and save yourself from outer space angst. Run CCleaner and you will no longer be slowly pinwheeling through a vacuum in slow mo, but instead connecting at light speed to the great Chow nebula...

It does seem to be working better now. I have a feeling I've lost a good portion of my porn stash, but that's a small price to pay! Let's see if this post goes through on my first attempt.

Smooth....posted first try no delay!! Thank you!!

              1. re: jrvedivici

I'm keeping the Hubble trained on your capsule window, Jr. - put your spacesuit back on this instant! ( retinas have been permanently violated!!!)

                1. re: Servorg

Remember space is like a cold swimming pool = shrinkage. Here on earth it would be like Godzilla!!!

                  1. re: jrvedivici

George. George Costanza, is that you?

                    1. re: Servorg

Place an eclair above the rim of the trash, on top of a magazine with the doily still on it and you will find out for sure.

              2. re: Servorg

My computer has been lagging a bit at times too. I saw your post and so I just downloaded and ran this ccleaner and wow, my computer is much faster as well. Thanks Servorg.

                1. re: lynnlato

Glad it helped you and Jr. Just pay it forward and spread the word. I don't do that much cleaning (typical man) but when it comes to CCleaner I am a firm believer as the proof is in the pudding being hosed out of my neural net and my connections happen much, much faster with the sticky stuff gone!

                  1. re: Servorg

Servorg, is this usable for a Mac?
Oh, now I see a Mac category.

                2. re: Servorg

CCleaner is *great* for clearing out the space trash in the cache.

                  1. re: LindaWhit

I don't know what all this gibberish means, but I am enjoying a noticeable change in my computers performance, and for that I think you all!!

                3. Repeated occurrences of "need to enter text"-> but if I can scroll (and that's not always "allowed"), I see that me post has already been processed.

                  1. re: Kris in Beijing

Thank you for pointing that out Kris, not everyone enjoys a show off!! (just kidding I do see what your talking about). That was probably from my frustration of clicking reply, and the red circle just turning without it "posting". I guess I was wrong.
