Saturday afternoon down by Battery Park

  • 3

Need a place for a late lunch down by Battery Park, South Street Seaport, some where down in that area. Four women who love good food, nothing fancy. We are taking a beer tasting cruise on a sailing schooner and will be hungry and looking to eat when we get off the boat. Thanks...we LOVE all cuisines.

  1. You could check out The Dead Rabbit; awesome cocktail bar with some pretty solid but very approachable food. If you want something a little more traditional (in terms of decor etc.) maybe you want to look at North End Grill closer to World Trade.

Just had a very nice brunch at NEG but they stop serving at 2pm.

We did hit up Dead Rabbit afterwards. Was fairly busy in the Tap Room and took a bit of maneuvering to get four barstools together (the one table in front was occupied).

Hudson Eats may work. You could each get something to go, maybe eat outside.

    2. Acqua (Historic Seaport North). You can sit outdoors if the weather is nice.

A long thread on lunch in the Financial District (Seaport, Wall Street . . .not so much Battery Park/West):
