Ukraina of Brooklyn [split thread]

Right near Di Fara Pizza is a wonderful Ukraine and Russian Deli, where the prepared food gives me no reason to eat pizza.

"Ukraina of Brooklyn Inc - Midwood - Brooklyn, NY"

The last time I was there, I got some of their prepared veal liver. That which I did not photograph, makes the photo above look like food that they obviously serve to people in hell.

A few doors away from this so called famed Di Fara.

And you get served very professionally, and with kindness, by delightful Eastern European women. Beats crust and tomato sauce in foil.

There veal liver is delightfully delicious, and is cooked up with taste filled slices of onion.

I recommend the sausage, that must be bought by the pound.

The meat items are many, like bacon wrapped chicken with cheese, and slabs of thick bacon. Many others.

Other items of pockets, the Anglo named of the real name for non-sweet pastry meat and veggie filled items.

    2. Do they have seating inside, or is it a take-out Deli?
My family is from Ukraine so i'm curious what dishes they have besides veal liver.

It is a store. Not a venue with seating.

Many items similar and are found in the Ukraine, etc. and Russian grocers and supermarkets all over.

Meats with cheese with veggies and egg, some curled up, some flat. Fish prepared in similar fashions, and stuffed items, also balls of meat etc.

It is like the stores down on Kings Highway, and Brighton.

I have been a few times. I just get things without knowing what they are too much. I might ask about the item.

The non-deli items inside are not as many as other places like Kings Highway, so I get my sprats and the like, other places.

        You would find it great.
