Shrimp and scallop skewers: What marinade?

I don't know why I'm drawing a blank. Crowd isn't fussy but I want something that ties into the rest of the meal which is cheddar bison burgers and pastrami potato salad. I was debating going sweet/asian but don't want to overpower the scallops? My best idea so far would be a sun dried tomato and herb.

Any suggestions?

  1. I love sweet asian flavors, but I do think the tomato and herb would work better with the rest of your menu. One more idea - lemon and garlic, scampi flavors.
