Sand Plum Jelly

I have access to a bunch of wild sand plums this year. I remember eating the jelly when I was young, always something to look forward to. I'm not a real confident jelly maker. Anyone have a tried and true sand plum jelly recipe?

  1. Are you talking about beach plums, by any chance? I live in NJ, and they grow wild out on one of our National Park beaches. A friend and I make beach plum jelly every year that we can pick enough to make a few jars.

      These are sand plums, native to Kansas and Oklahoma. I'd be interested to see if they are similar. They both like sand
