Sunday Croton Farmers Market

Although small, it seems to be much better than in prior years. I was happy to see there is a fish vendor (not Pura Vida, another Long Island fishery). Good to have those weekends when I'm unable to get to the Saturday market.
Thanks for the report.
Have you tried the small farm market (one farm--near Goshen) in the middle of town on Thursday afternoons? It's right around the corner from the Blue Pig, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. We were wowed by the variety and quality of what we bought, all from the farm: leeks, parsnips, carrots, garlic, fresh garlic sprouts, cabbage, kirby cucumbers, Jerusalem artichokes.
Not just delicious, but also organic and remarkably clean. No need even to peel the carrots, parsnips or Jerusalem artichoke, for instance. And we didn't discern any sand in the leeks; I'd love to know how they can grow them so clean.
There were many other items there, including apples (presumably from the Fall), broccoli, cherry tomatoes, and many salad greens. Prices were quite fair.
I haven't been this year; thanks for the report. It is by far the closest to me, but it was so small last year that I only went a few times.
Pura Vida (at Pville and Ossining) has spoiled me so much.... one week I missed the market and bought fish at Whole Foods and I was so disappointed-- I realized right then how much I take the freshness and quality of Pura Vida for granted!
What is the name of the place at the Croton market?
