Late Dinner

  • 6

Coming in for the weekend with my husband. I am looking for 2 restaurants for dinner. They are going to have to be open later. 9:30-10:00. We like great good and don't mind paying $$$$ but do not like stuffy places or trendy places that have loud music such as Tao I enjoy mixology type drinks and my husband is a scotch drinker. We enjoy all types of food. Great service is important also. We are staying at The London Hotel.
Thank You :)

  1. Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar and Grill
    Bar Boulud
    Landmarc

    1. Happily, 9:30-10:00 isn't considered late here. Almost all restaurants have their last seatings within that time.

      1. The timing is not an issue here at all....
Any cuisine preference? Budget per person before drinks and tax/tip?
Betony and Ma Peche are both within walking distance of your hotel yet very different food.

        1. Bar Room at the Modern? They are open Monday - Saturday 11:30 am - 10:30 pm, but close earlier on Sundays.

Ma Peche? Open for dinner until 11pm on weekends.

Agree that 9:30-10pm isn't really all that late on a weekend. Late night is more like 11pm or 12am here.

Stop into the bar at Ma Peche for drinks at some point. See if you like the food menu.

Also the best mixology place in the neighborhood is Lantern's Keep. Very small speakeasy like location. Great service, excellent menu, as well as good at bartender's choice. Make a reservation. Closed Sundays.

Also if husband drinks scotch, go to Keens Steakhouse.
