Hi,
My husband & I scored a babysitter for Saturday night. We're looking to go out to dinner in DC. (We live in Alexandria). All of the "hot" restaurants have no open tables..any creative suggestions? Ethnic fine, seafood not really. Thanks!

  1. Call up a place you like. Give them the finally have sitter first time out in how long. Maybe they can squeeze you in

    1. Just put those parameters into Open Table. Tons of availability.

      1. Izakaya Seki. Get the mero, tuna tataki, rice ball, hijiki salad, burdock root salad, and the vinegar-curd mackerel.

Good point, I guess I got over-excited about the ethnic part and didn't continue to read.

        2. I saw a number of good reservations on OpenTable/CityEats for Saturday: Ambar, Boqueria, Casa Oaxaca, Daikaya, Ethiopic, Graffiato, Mourayo, Cava Mezze, Kapnos. These are all great options and would give you a fun night out.

She may not. I will sounds great

          2. Have you considered B Too? I think the food is really quite good, and it's usually pretty easy to get a same day reservation on the weekend. It could make a great date spot in the city.
