Will have 10 adults looking a for a fun and delicious dinner midweek in Ridgefield. Probably in cabs from a hotel.
Not super fancy but want great food.

In cabs? Are you staying at the hotel on Rt. 7? If you are there's an Indian restaurant right in the hotel. They're called Thal. In Ridgefield, Tuscana is a really good Italian place - could be expensive - you'd have to look at their menu. Ancient Mariner is a bar and restaurant that's pretty low-brow but consistent....been there for something like 25+ years. I ate a a place (really small) and I'm not sure if you'd think it's expensive called Bailey's Back Yard. It was very good.

I have always been sketched out by that indian restaurant in that motel on rt 7. How either of those places have survived since the 90's (grew up K-12 in wilton and moved back now being 30) is beyond me.

I just thought of more: There are a couple of places that I have not tried that are new in Ridgefield: There's a place that's been pretty popular called "Little Pub" on Rt. 7 that is always busy on the weekends that I hear is good. Also, there's a place called "Gallow" which I think is on Eastridge Drive and I have no idea if it's good or not. It use to be called Eastridge Cafe. I'd check out their menu's if you're considering going to check price and see what they have and it would probably be a good idea to make reservations - especially for a smaller place like "Bailey's Backyard".

I've not been myself, but people have recommended both Cellar Door and Sarah's Wine Bar, both located in Ridgefield.

A couple of years ago I had a very nice meal at The Plate. I don't even know if it is still there, but it is worth a try. Midweek is probably good since it is not a large restaurant.

Thali is really good, we get takeout from there all the time.
The restaurant itself is really nice, much better than it looks from the outside. Little Pub is also excellent but always crowded, be prepared to wait for a table. Good beer selection and great burgers.

Just learned the group is staying in Danbury, not Ridgefield. Off of 84 on Newtown Rd. I think there is an Outback Steakhouse at the la Quinta inn.
Please help with any close spots. Probably close to 9:30 or 10 on Tuesday.
Little Pub looked good but I'm afraid it's too far now.

Rizzutto's is excellent, and fairly close.
