Not in Center City please, with easy parking.

Not familiar with the area, and Mondays can be tough.

    Any ideas?

How about Fiorino in East Falls?

Thanks, Bigley. Will remember this for the next time.
Our friends had a conflict with Monday, so we had
drinks and snacks in their backyard this afternoon,
and will save the dinner half way for another occasion.
        East Falls would be great.

Manayunk has a plethora of neat places to choose from and is a charming area to peruse the different boutiques and stores as well. There are two close by parking lots and walking is a no brainer.
Just pick a spot that looks appealing to you, like Jake's, (some have menus in the windows I think), and enjoy a lovely repast in a neat neighborhood smack dab between Roxborough and Center City.
          Bon appetit!

In Riva on Kelly Drive sounds like it would be perfect.

Wow, the parking is great there, but as close as it is,
we have never been there. Do tell me what you like about
              it.

In Riva is a very nice, casual spot that does brick oven pizza and small Italian dishes. It's very much in the same vein as Zavino, Pizzeria Stella and the like. There is a good mix of both Italian and local craft beers, wines by the glass or bottle, and cocktails. Grab a spot on the outdoor patio around 6:30-7 and have a relaxed dinner on the river as the sun goes down. There's not much to not like. I think it's a really underrated place.

I was also going to suggest In Riva. Nice, fresh ingredients and well-prepared food. They have several nice salads, the pizza is good and the pasta dishes are nice. Nothing super creative, but solid. When the weather is nice, the outdoor seating has nice views of the river.
