Where to Find Wine in Keg in Florida

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find wine on tap anywhere in Florida. It can be a restaurant, bar, store, wine shop, etc. Thanks!

  1. In the 30 years I've lived in Florida, I've never seen wine on tap anywhere in the state (and I've had wine in a lot of places...) :)

It wouldn't surprise me at all that it's against one of the many, MANY oddball protectionist liquor laws that Florida seems to revel in having.

You probably could, however, have no problem at all finding some place that's pulling it from a bag-in-box.

Keep in mind, too, that pretty much the only wine made anywhere but the northernmost parts of the state is made from muscadine or scuppernong grapes. Florida wines tend to be very, very sweet,as the other varietals don't do well in the heat and humidity.

    1. If these folks don't have wine on tap, they may know whether it exists in Florida:

They are located in South Pasadena, near St. Pete Beach. Cute shop.

      1. The Flying Pig at 1584 Central Ave, in St. Petersburg, is supposedly the only one in Tampa Bay, according to this Tampa Bay Times article. The article mentions that there is one in Orlando, but does not name that location.

I hope to check out The Flying Pig soon.
