I am having a bunch of people over and was wondering if anyone knew where to get a lot of ice for a good price. Gas stations and usual grocery stores are quite expensive. Any advice?

  1. Party rental places usually have large (10 lbs or 25 lbs )bags of ice for sale.

    1. often our local cold beer & wine store (usually next to a pub) will sell me a big shopping bag of ice (take your cooler with you) - or at one of the places - he gives some ice to me, along with some lemons or limes - small town atmosphere, we all know each other

obviously ask ahead of time - and don't go to pick-up at their super-busy time - etc.

      1. Try a marine dock store?

        1. Call ahead; get a kid to wear his/her soccer team uni, and go to McD's with the cooler.

            Thanks all!

I ended up at HY Louis 6 bags for $8.75...and what a strange place to shop at!
