Albuquerque - Sunday Rail Yards Market vs Saturday Growers' Market?

Has anyone been to the Rail Yards Market? How does it compare to the Downtown Growers' Market in Robinson Park? From the website it looks like it's more arts & crafts oriented. Are there many produce vendors there? My sister was under the impression they're phasing out the downtown market and moving all the vendors to the Rail Yard. Is this correct? And how's the parking at the Rail Yards? Just the thought of dealing with that is what keeps me from going.

  1. Went to Railyards and you are correct, mostly arts and crafts. I usually go to the Los Ranchos Grower Market on Saturdays and I love the low key vibe there. Old time farm folks, great plant starts and produce. Not a big market but maybe that is what I like about it, it's intimacy and a place where you get to know the farmers and what they grow. Not trendy, just honest and solid.
