Google 23st Cafe... see if that works for you.

It's Indian/Mex fusion but they do Mexican and American style breakfast burritos.

Hit up Armando's Lunch Truck http://www.yelp.com/biz/armandos-lunc... which parks at USC every day. Great breakfast burritos.

Yeah, brain fart on my part.

              Was thinking tacos.

Apologies all around. Move along, nothing to see here.

No they don't but they make the BEST Breakfast Torta... the bread they use is amazing. BTW.... Cochinita is breakfast food in the Yucatan... ;)

Next time. Our kid loves the museums so we go often.

Yes, I am familiar with and love Yucatecan cuisine. Was in Yucat√°n las month and had amazing (and super cheap) cochinita and breakfast tacos unlike any you find in Los Angeles

Now you know what I'm talking about when I rail about the quality of tortilla here in the states. *feh!*

Indeed. I've known about the tortilla situation here for years. My grandmother is from Zacatecas and our family is so spoiled by her amazing cooking, we do not bother with most Mexican restaurants in LA

Both my abuelita and mom are outstanding cooks with amazing gardens (We had to grow our own peppers and banana plants before things became widely available) but they should NEVER have to cook for themselves for their birthdays and Mothers day....LOL!! So we would often just taken them out to Mariscos or Chinese Food... LOL!!
