What's your favorite restaurant in Gramercy Park?

Juxie May 16, 2014 03:21 PM

Yippee!! We're moving from Sutton Place to Gramercy Park. While we're thrilled about living in a younger and more vibrant neighborhood (doesn't take much to be more vibrant than Senior Place), my BF claims that there is a dearth of good restaurants in the area. Right now our nabe faves are Tiella, Cafe Joul and Sip Sak. Any recommendations for where to eat in Gramercy Park?

Check out the thread about moving to Stuy-town. Lots of Gramercy recommendations in there.

To Maialino and Gramercy Tavern I would add EMP. All three are great restaurants within their own very different spheres, and all three offer excellent bar dining area alternatives to their main dining rooms.

And just to the north you have Curry Hill and more great options like Chote Nawab, Kokum, Vatan
