Chick-fil-A Grilled Market Salad

This looks nice for a drive thru, fast food lunch. Thoughts?

  1. You would be very lucky if it looks anything like that.
This is a photo taken of a product "dressed up" by a food stylist.

Of course. I was inquiring as to a person's experience with the salad. Should I bother trying it or is it a pass?

Actually, as you can imagine, I have no idea. That's why I resorted to a smart-alecky wisecrack. Sorry for that, and good luck in finding out. As Treb says, it's only $5 so worth a try.

    2. It has all of those ingredients, but does not look like that. I eat inside the store (stopped doing drive thrus as a New Year Resolution 10+ years ago) and they bring it to you and offer a pepper grinder, which makes it kind of special. The grilled chicken portion is one patty; just enough.

      1. It most likely will not look the same as the pic, most food never looks like it's pic anyway, but if it has all the ingredients pictured I'd give it a try. I mean what's the down side $5.00?

        1. According to the site, it's got blue cheese, red apples, green apples, strawberries, blueberries, Harvest Nut granola and a roasted nut blend on it, which, if it's all there, is a pretty terrific deal for $5 or so. This is the sort of salad I'd expect to be $9 at Panera.

Healthier and less expensive than a pack of Marlboro's.

          2. I had one last week. It's not as pretty and green as the merketing pic, obviously, but it was a good salad for the price. Much better than the salads at McDonalds and Wendys in my book.

            1. It is very good. As is the new grilled chicken sandwich and the grilled chicken wrap.

              1. For obvious religious reason's I cannot eat this salad. Nothing to do with Chick-Fil-A, I just swore to God I would never eat lettuce again.
