What's your favorite food to bring on the plane when leaving Maui? Leaving tomorrow. I'm thinking of foodland poke. Any other suggestions?

Tamura's poke. The airport does not have good options.

Don't forget to be careful of the agricultural restrictions, if leaving Hawaii for the mainland.

Costco food court is across the street for a sealed chicken salad.
Poke should be sold for the flight home.
Bar/resto at OGG, Sammy's is good.

Aloha and report back since myself and others will be heading back for Aloha time..

Remember when flying interisland-the rules that prohibit liquids etc. w carry-ons. I bought guava jam once and had to dispose of prior to entering airport. Another moronic security guard almost took my chocolate covered mac nuts cause he said theoretically they could be melted down and be considered liquid. I told him to go get a life!

The 3-1-1 rules apply when flying anywhere in the USA, not just interisland.

The chocolate covered macadamia nuts thing is ridiculous--they sell those INSIDE the airport, too!
