Holy Kitchen (Noe Valley, San Francisco)

A current owner of Little Delhi in the Tenderloin recently opened Holy Kitchen in Noe Valley. It's on 24th, up the hill and west of Castro, and slightly separated from the main strip on 24th. It's the former location of Swatdee Thai.

The Paneer Shashlyk and the Lamb Achari were freshly spiced and fragrant. The lamb achari's sourness came from mango pickle and the spices included fennel seeds. Good dish, and balanced, but could have had more spice and pickle-- next time I'll ask for "no, really I'm serious, spicy" because ordering at their highest heat level resulted only in "Noe Valley spicy."

Paneer Shashlyk was pretty good too-- it's served on a sizzling plate.
