my daughter is getting married the end of July. It is a casual BBQ wedding celebration. She would like to serve pie for dessert. Does anyone know of a pie baker who does a great job? There is so much good fruit available then . It would be wonderful to incorporate that into the dessert offering--Pie and outstanding ice cream--YUM!!

    In what neighborhood/area are you?
what's the price point you're looking for

(lots of options and lots of knowledge here, we just need a little more information)

You might want to trek to Pete's Produce in the West Chester area where they have some wonderful homemade pies by locals. Their homemade ice creams are delicious too.

Pete's is good. I think Bakery House in Bryn Mawr makes fantastic pies.

I haven't been in a while, but I remember Weinrich's having some really good pies.
Further out in the 'burbs Tabora Farms... REALLY good fruit pies

not sure what area you're in, but cramer's bakery in yardley pa (bucks) has some standout baking going on and do a good job with customized jobs.
