Anyone know if there's a restaurant in Baltimore area that sells Belly clams? I know where to get them in DC but looking for someplace closer.

Thames Street Oyster House and Legal Seafood.

Thanks so much. Checked out Thames St. and it has possibilities. Legal Seafood on the other hand has been closed for years as far as I know.

Michael......I am seeing belly clams on menus in Florida everywhere I go.....in DC, too? I'll suggest LP Steamers perhaps for belly clams but I'd have to Google it to see if they are on the menu.......my most memorable experience with belly clams....."Tark's" restaurant in Dania, Florida. Sorry, didn't mean to digress, but those fried belly clams were great!

Yes they are. Folks around here are used to Clam Strips for the most part. The difference between them and Belly (or Ipswich ) clams is like the difference between Salmon Roe and Beluga Caviar.
