Brunch at the Vanderbilt

Had brunch last weekend. Much to be desired....all four of us felt that the food was flat, really lacking taste... We had to ask for salt, .since there was none on the table. The apple "jam" that came with the French toast was in edible. The celery stick in a Bloody Mary had seen better days. Please note that except for asking for the salt we did not complain about the other shortcomings. That did not stop our waitress from having a sourpuss expression the entire meal. What a waste of $100 for brunch for four.
