Where to get lamb in YYC

Looking to get some lamb chops tomorrow - any ideas for some tasty lamb? Save-On was not a good experience

  1. I've seen some local lamb at Sobeys lately. Costco also has a good selection of Australian lamb.

    1. The South African butcher shop on Kensington Road between Posh Mommy and Amato Gelato was always pretty good, and they have other interesting specialities. I'm assuming they are still there as I haven't lived in the area for a while.

Midtown Co-op always used to have some decent chops in the butcher's case, not the pre-wrapped.

      1. I like the ones at Costco but I think that the butcher's at Crossroad's Market are even better. Shaganappi Grocery at 17th Ave/37th St SW, also usually carries them.

        1. Hovem Farms booth at Kingsland Market sells Ewe-nique lamb.
