Green Chile Cheddar - I can't find it!

While in Kansas City last year I visited a cheese shop called The Better Cheddar. I was able to score a wedge of the most delicious white cheddar cheese with a green chiles in it. Has anyone seen this or have any idea where I can get it again? I haven't found it online. Anyone have a suggestion for a similar brand of cheese they prefer?

  1. Here's a Wisconsin cheddar with jalapeƱo chile peppers (which are green).

Haven't tasted it, but maybe it's close to what you're seeking.

Thanks Melanie! This isn't what I was looking for. My cheese was WHITE. Maybe I should have put that into the description?!? LOL!!! I really appreciate it though!

Hennings of Wisconsin makes a batch of hatch chile cheddar every year- it's not available year round, but it is worth seeking out.
In the Midwest, they're distributed by DCI- might be worth looking them up to get this years expected release date.
