I saw this in the store today and almost bought the Gouda flavor. I thought I'd ask the hounds first.....

Do you mean Midnight Moon chevre from Cypress Grove? If you do -- I find it delicious.

Here's the description from their web site: "Aged six months or more, this blushing, ivory-colored cheese is dense and smooth with a slight crunch of protein crystals that form naturally with aging. Made in Holland exclusively for Cypress Grove Chevre, Midnight Moon is nutty and brown buttery up front with a long caramel finish."

I'll stop by QFC on the way to the grocery store to buy some of these later tonight, they look pretty awesome.
The question is, will they de-throne cheez itz cheddar jack flavor as the king of cheese snacks that I can buy at regular chain grocery stores.

Looks like it's only available in the Pacific Northwest, but that's okay. I'll stick with regular cheese, thanks. :)

Moon Cheese has a shop now, so anyone can order, even outside the Pacific Northwest

Thanks for trying Moon cheese! We really believe in it, we think it's a great gluten-free, low carb snack and it's made 100% from real American cheese.
