fun kosher pasta shapes needed

  • 9

I have a party to attend soon nd I want to take my "signature" faux crab salad. Instead if the typical sheel or elbow pasta, I 'd love to use msome fun shaped pasta. My husaband found frogs on some webdsite, but sadly they arent kosher. Turtles would be very cool, bnut almost any fun shape will work.
If anyone knows where I may be able to find such pasta in Philly area (prefered) or Baltimore or Lakewood or on line- I'd be so happy!
Thanks!

  1. If you have a Home Goods near you they often have fun shaped pastas in their food section that sometimes are kosher.

Thanks for the tip:) I dont live that close to a HomeGoods, but know exactly where on is:) THANK YOU!

    2. It might pay to ask a shaila of your LOR. I was told that any pasta which has NO additives of any sort is fine.

I've heard that too. If that doesn't work out for you, DeCecco makes tennis racket pasta they call Racchette. They're both OU and available at any grocery store.

I'm not familiar with that hechsher but you might want to look into it.
