Course Flour YYC
My girlfriend is Czech, and she really misses course flour to make bread dumplings. Anyone have any idea where in Calgary to buy course flour or meal?
Just a little Google snooping around (and some assumptions).
I found this recipe on Instructables
If these are the same type of dumplings your girlfriend wants to make, she used a 2:1 mixture of bread (white?) flour and semolina.
Also, she listed some German equivalents for hruba mouka so maybe Edelweiss Imports might carry them?
You may want to try Bulk Barn. I haven't been there myself, but apparently they have a wide array of flours to choose from.
