Blanco sink question

We put a Blanco granite composite sink in anthracite in our kitchen. This is the almost black color. As advertised it has held up well and we are very happy with it, but I noticed it doesn't look as black as it used to IMO. Anyone know of a way to bring back the black color? I don't know if I've used too much BKF and have etched the surface, or if it's calcium from the hard water, but it sure doesn't appear as black as it did when new. It's only a little over 2 years old.

Thank you for your suggestions,

  1. mikie -- you might want to try posting in the Kitchens forum at GardenWeb. That site has a lot of Blanco Silgranit fans.

I have a Silgranit sink, but have never had any discoloring issues, and haven't heard of people who have had this problem.

If it is really discoloring, you should contact Blanco. They might be able to replace it or have suggestions. The whole sink is colored the same in a single cast, so even if you use too much BKF you should only be exposing more of the same color.
