The owners of Mare in the N End are taking over the old Ninos in Hingham. According a Hingham foodie post on FB they will honor Ninos gift certificates. Link to website http://www.thequarry.co

Be nice to have another option in that area of town

  1. Their food better sing songs if they think they're going to get the prices on their menu. This is not downtown.

        Yes it is: http://thequarry.co/wp-content/upload...

You can also get to it using the link in the OP

$50 filets with a $8 side of asparagus. After your $19 fried clam app.

sorry. my initial trip to the website yielded nothing.

you're right. those prices seem suicidal for that area for pretty plain food.

Just the dinner menu is up. You might have clicked on lunch or bar.

Yikes! No menu when I first posted that link. That's crazy based on location even if the food is amazing.

    2. So has anyone eaten there yet?? Curious if prices remain as high as initially noted (and still on line) and what is was like now that its been a couple of months. Maybe there are offering more reasonable specials?

We are getting together with another couple next week and are pretty much limited to Hull, Hingham, Cohasset, Norwell and Scituate and want to try something new. In the last 3 months we have done Oro, Tosca, Square Cafe, Scarlet Oak, Trattoria San Pietro, Bia, Dalat and Riva. With Quarrie prices I don't want to go in blind. thanks
