Rossi's announces relocation

  • 3

FWIW, today's Trenton Times announced that Rossi's (of Chambersburg) new location will be the (still open) Charlie Brown's on Whitehorse Road in Hamilton. I believe the new opening date is June 18th. That's right next door to the Golden Dawn diner. Should be interesting to see how the 2 Mercer County institutions operate in such close proximity.

  1. Sorry to say, but one of my worst disappointments in food travels ....was the Burger and Fries at Rossi's. Both were terrible.

I'm hoping the move will rejuvenate them; the burger was pretty good 10 years ago. 3-4 years ago, markedly less so.

Papa's Tomato Pies maintained its quality when it moved out to Robbinsville (my choice over DeLorenzos), so it's possible that this could be a success too.

I've only had Papa's after it was two hours old traveling up the Turnpike to here in Bergen County. While I would not group the DeLorenzo's in the disappointment category...I enjoyed Hamilton Ave? for exactly what it was. My nephew always preferred Hudson Street?. While I enjoyed the pizza there as well, the drama, service and canned clams, not so much....especially the $68+ for three pies to go.
