Looking for good vegan restaurant

Any recommendations for a good vegan restaurant in queens or Brooklyn?

  1. I admit that I haven't been there in a while but V Spot is tasty. It's also a good spot for people who aren't vegans and want something familiar. It's under IKC.

V spot changed their menu slightly. Was there twice about a month or two ago. Everything was really good. They sell their salsa by the bottle too

    2. WIld Ginger, on Smith between Dean and Pacific, is 99% vegan. There is one dairy entree, which is clearly marked on the menu, and I think some dairy drinks.

I love Wild Ginger. I've actually never seen anything dairy o their menu, which was recently revamped somewhat. The food is delicious! Make sure to try the miso glazed eggplant appetizer - it's fantastic.

I also love wild ginger. We get the tofu skin wraps when with a group. My husband likes the bibimbap and kimchee stir fried noodles. (He loves spicy). The jade mushrooms is my favorite guilty pleasure item. You'd never know it was mushrooms!!! Pumpkin soup is good too. We like to go with friends and have everything served in the middle of the table- that way we can taste everything.

      2. I don't know if they ever get to Brooklyn/Queens, but Cinnamon Snail just came back. They're an award winning vegan food truck that is certified. I haven't been yet myself, but I've heard very good things.

Cinnamon Snail is certified?? I've heard great things - must check it out!

        2. I've been to Sun in Bloom a few times. (It's on Bergen street). It's vegan, mostly raw, with some cooked items. Their salads are delicious and their brunch items are really different and interesting. The portions don't seem huge, but it's all really filling.

(They will make the brunch items after brunch is over if they have the ingredients ready)
