Decarie Hot dog is on Decarie in Ville St-Laurent near Cote-Vertu. It is in the "street" section of Decarie, not around the expressway.

here is the exact address:

Decarie Hot Dog, 953 Decarie Blvd., St. Laurent.

They have no website :0)

If you are downtown, try a smoke meat somewhere on or near the main. Decarie is good if you are in the area, but it's still hot dogs and fries...

Decarie has a pretty good poutine too. They make their own gravy from scratch and it is delicious.

Great poutine.

I also suggest La Banquise on Rachel St.
From St-Denis, take Rachel East and on your right hand side before the Parc Lafontaine.

Walking distance from St-Denis

Decare Hot Dog is a genuine old school eatery - a tiny place which is essentially just a row of stools in front of the grill and deep frier. I'm sure not much has changed in the place in 30 or 40 years. The staff are really friendly and like ot joke around with the customers. If you're in Boston and don't come to Montreal often, you should definitely try one of the famous steamed hotdogs and some great fries. I love Decarie Hot Dog for an odd greasy treat and the genuine atmosphere but if you're looking to try poutine (a real heartstopper - fries, gravy and melted cheese curds) I would head somewhere in a more francophone part of town (East end).

Really out of date thread, I know, but what the heck.

Right across the street from Decarie Hot Dog is a place called La Belle Province. You might prefer their poutine. Personally, I prefer Decarie.

It is a small eat in take out slack shop .situated near Vanier college. just 5 min from Cote Vertu Metro station. It is very famous for its hotdog(cheap and tasty) and fries .Nearly all Vanier students had their foot prints there . After they leave Vanier,go to McGill or Concordia University, they still have it intheir mind and would ocassionaly go back for a dish .
