I've tried to find the place, I assume its on decarie blvd. but not sure,its a small eat in take out place and probally 100's just like it but if anyone has any ideas please help. I'm sure not much has changed in the place in 30 or 40 years. The staff are really friendly and like ot joke around with the customers. If you're in Boston and don't come to Montreal often, you should definitely try one of the famous steamed hotdogs and some great fries. I love Decarie Hot Dog for an odd greasy treat and the genuine atmosphere but if you're looking to try poutine (a real heartstopper - fries, gravy and melted cheese curds) I would head somewhere in a more francophone part of town (East end). You might prefer their poutine. Personally, I prefer Decarie. It is very famous for its hotdog(cheap and tasty) and fries .Nearly all Vanier students had their foot prints there .
