Fun Place for daughters 23rd B-day. Have resv at Barton Gs.

Willing to sacrifice food for fun but how much sacrifice will I be doing at Barton G's. Reviews are all over the place. Is Barton G's worth it for a one and done experience if you know it's not top rated food going in? Any other options in the brickell, downtown, midtown, wynwood, sobe areas?

  1. The food at Barton G is not good. You are sacrificing a lot by eating there. Expensive and gimmicky.

    1. Go to Bazaar instead. You will get wacky presentations and much better food.

      1. I would consider switching to Michael Mina 74 at the Fontainbleau Hotel. Great food with clubby vibe.

        1. I've been to Barton G's three times.....and the food was very good....Not great but very good.....The ambiance is fun and light....Service was very good....And it's a fun truly is....For a 23-year olds birthday it's a great place to be....

It's NOT a bastion of super fine dining but it's very good and you will have fun....

I normally have high regard for LargeLife's opinions, but must diverge here. I've only been to Barton G once, and none of the food was particularly good and some was actively bad.

Bazaar is an excellent suggestion. Fun atmosphere, clever presentations, and the food is excellent too. Don't miss the liquid nitrogen caipirinhas to start, and the paletas (which come in a big ice bucket) to finish.

Plus for the 23 year olds, if you do Bazaar, you are right at Hyde which is a popular club. At Barton, you will have to cab if you are going out afterwards.

How does 1826 compare with the bazaar? It is on my list...
