Release Notes April 23 2014: Better Editing

Engineering just sent out a new release this afternoon. Most of the changes were under the hood, but there is one visible change I wanted to mention:

After you submit a post, if you choose to edit it, you can now change the photos you uploaded to the post. You can add more photos if you didn't get them all the first time, or remove the photos you had already uploaded if they weren't the right ones.

If you have started a new thread and you click Edit, the Title field will also open for editing.

The time limit for editing remains 2 hours.

  1. Whoo hoo! Thanks Jacquilynne and thanks to Engineering.

    1. Wow adding photos to an existing post is great! Especially for those on slow connections. Rather than try to upload all of the pics for a post, which if there are many can take a long time and seem to trigger duplicate posts (at least for me), we can upload in small batches.

      1. Thanks-- this is a valuable feature for those of us who don't regularly sync our cell phones to our computers. Here's how I use it:

        1. Write and submit post on computer
        2. Upload photos directly from phone by going to the post and editing it.

        1. This changed my life.
