I've been in the fall but wonder about a month without the letter 'r'.

Most oyster bars due to little other food than oysters tend to close the beginning of June, AFAIK both Huitrerie Regis and Pleine Mer, which l prefer, close at that time for the season.

I also prefer Pleine Mer, hands down.

As most oysters in France are sterile and thus don't breed there is no reason not to eat them during the summer....and plenty are available.

But a question about these two places. Do they simply close for their summer holidays (although mid June seems a little early) and have a good long break or do they only serve the fertile oysters?
