Baby high chairs in Israeli restaurants, are they widely available?

Will be in Israel with a 1-year-old, and a 3 year old. Will high chairs, booster seats be generally available, or should we schlep a folding, clip-on restaurant baby seat?

Yes high chairs are widely available in restaurants here.

If you do ending up bringing something, there's a fabric wrap type restraint that works great on a chair.

Israel is a child centred society. The problem is that this manifests itself by permitting children to do whatever they want.
        Including in restaurants

Odd. The worst issues I've seen with children's poor behavior in public was when I lived in Westchester. Didn't have those issues in Israel.

Where were you living in Israel and when?

Didn't mean to imply that I lived in Israel, although I can see that I may have been unclear. I lived in Westchester in the mid-90's and have visited multiple locations in Israel in the last 10 or 11 years.

I don't recall seeing out of control kids in Israel but I sure as anything saw more than I care to remember in Westchester.

Let's not do a 'where are the kids worst behaved' debate here. It's pretty far afield for Chowhound and likely to get really heated. Thanks!
